Like I said before all the chatting is starting it's going to be a little crazy the next few days. Lets jump in.
Right off the bat CS is tempting us with Kromski wheel photos! (sigh) Hottie's juggling. Hottie in the pool. Jedimeg got the surprise blanket we started back when we found out she was pregnant. and she likes it!! YAY!
Darahmartin got her kids into dying! aren't they just cute. Hermionejean finished her OWL. I need to get that pattern b/c those dragons are so cute. Frick's Owl's getting closer! Straayerliz has been busy dying.CS is plotting baby rooms. Lupingirl is knitting knitting knitting! Spartyliblover shared a HILARIOUS video. NaturallyKnitty gave us a lesson in dehairing. Jajigirl spun lace weight for her owl ON A SPINDLE!!!! call me amazed b/c that is what I am! it's so pretty! CS is showing us some beautiful angora. you can just tell how soft it is! NK shared her llama all spun up. Vertigo finished a pretty scarf. I love it. Gerard! CS's dragon is done! I have the pattern I just need to make one! Noonee is trying to decide her next OWL.. go help. and picked a potions owl. can you help her place her scarf in the right class. TWO roaring lion badges went out one to AmyPC and the other to Derricksdoll. Yay you guys ROAR! Mallet of sanity! CS is plotting owls. Ravenclaw's having a reading challenge. CS you're tempting all of us to get a Kromski. the bobbins are beautiful! Darahmartin is a waiting her new wheel and she's ready!

I find myself at home alone and the CR needing a recap. so here we go.
Darahmartin is getting a kitty. Straayerliz turned in her pretty shawl.(ya know the one that ALMOST makes me want to knit a shawl) PennyIA finished her dragon. Andisocial finished her first sweater. (i love that pattern it's in my queue) OKC is showing off her fabulous sweater and cute baby. Crochetbyclare has just a few birds. Funny comics. Straayerliz's first yarn on her new wheel! Naturallyknitty is stunning us all with her lovely photos! Lion Cookies. Frick is almost done with her OWL. TKJ is back for a bit and showing us some juggling stuff she bought. (pretty freakin cool if you ask me) Derricksdoll made a beautiful baby blanket! Jajigirl was sewing, and I think she's got me wanting to sew again! NaturallyKnitty went to a fiber fair and took our dad and mom. and then showed us her haul and tons of photos and one from the meet up with Jedimeg and baby Ian! Krazyquilts made some awesome socks. I love the color! Savvyknits got a new kitty. Draco's getting big. Lisakbye is sharing some photos to giggle at.

Hey everyone, sorry I've been so long in giving you another CRR. the Quidditch mega challenge just took it out of me.

Derricksdoll shows us some lovely lovely FO's.  We had a lot of gryffie's nominated for prizes this past month. Straayerliz knit some great snowman mittens. Naturallyknitty shared a test knit vest she made for Clhoe. (isn't my niece so cute?) Spartyliblover finished a great doll she had a good story too! Straayerliz is sharing her cute little baby boy. CS the roving reporter gave us an update on the blog. PennyIA's weekly progress report/plan is putting me to shame. So is straayerliz's. Jaclynbailey is back and with quidditch say hi and maybe she'll stay around! (we miss you!) Lupingirl did a podcast for her class go check it out. Amypc did some research for us N runes. thank you so much! so did Mindysue! Covington finished some quidditch things.  Straayerliz is watching The princess bride and shared her progress on her shawl. Mauri's creatively helping out! Jajigirl is back from her vacation. Lupingirl made an announcement. please go read. ROAR! Covington is asking for some help. Stacylovesyarn is sharing her monthly plan! Autumnleaf77 needs help to decide what to do. TKJ is going to camp... we'll miss her! Darahmartin- I love the CR too! With the end of the month and the beginning of the new month we had a lot of action in the CR. I'm going to try and sum it up for you!

Frick shared a link that is now my desktop background. thank you very much! Derricksdoll needs some help with her etsy store. The new DH trailer is out.. Naturallyknitty linked us to one. Frick has shared some amazing homework projects. Krystina1207 brought the HP Trailer to the CR for us.
Vertigo1414 brought Gerard! that is one HOT photo! (which you should know that I'm watching law abiding citizen right now)
CS is sharing some awesome spinning videos. if you're thinking about spinning these are good places to start! Krystina1207 showed us her very functional homework project. There was a badger invasion. CS is 50% on her OWL. PennyIA is trying to tell herself she doesn't want to spin.. How's that working for you? CS got her new drum carder. and I'm so jealous!

Catdragon came over and gave us a lesson in cleaning wool. Colvea came in to the CR to tell us that Dobby socks are a win win in her class. I missed movie night AGAIN! ARUGH!
Lisakbye made an amazing winky which i think i need to make myself a house elf. Krystina1207 finished her DADA owl. it's beautiful! Everyone started posting ideas for the AR letters. I got an N and all I got was noro and I don't particularly care for the yarn so if you have any other "n" ideas please LMK! CS shared a photo of great mittens for but needs to find the pattern. if you can help, please share! Straayerliz finished her HOM. so did Purzleonline. True Blood anyone?

Don't mind me I've been reading like crazy! both in the CRR and some library books. but you're here to read about the CR so lets get to it.
Alexist shared what words we can write on ravelry and get fun little photos! that's quite a list! Derricksdoll's OWL squares are coming a long. i love all the colors!
Stacylovesyan and her mallet of sanity are always ready to whack someone upside the head. CS is sharing some vegan recipes she likes and some beautiful photos of the food she's made. Is anyone besides me thinking they should try to be a veg head? she's seriously tempting me! Frick is sharing her spinning with us. I love it!the DADA frog card is up. I'm soooo sad i missed it. darn freaking stupid socks... wasn't able to finish them in time.
CS is sharing some drop spindles. and I missed movie night....sigh stinkin headache.
Lupingirl got a new bag. it's pretty! jajigirl shared a photo of her drop spinning in public. (pay close attention to the guy staring) CS's spinning is beautiful! Straayerliz got a wheel! OK so I'm needing to catch up since I took a day off to drive home from WI. (I had a wonderful time and didn't want to come back though) and you guys were a chatty bunch. I totally need a CRR.. but then I remind myself that's ME! LOL at least I'm the CRR reporter. I'm enjoying my vacation with the family and loving the time spent with my sister but I realize I need to not forget my job. I'm going to try and condense this one a bit... and then keep up better after that. I hope you don't mind.
So PennyIA thinks the jelly yarn is kinda scary. what do you think? Derricksdoll found some AWESOME thrift store finds. I can NEVER find such good stuff. never ever. Though I would be happy if the thrift stores out there change that.
CherrySprinkle is sharing some recipes. I fave'd the post so I can find it again.  There was a movie night that I missed b/c we were on our way to WI. Andisocial shared her FO. i like that hat btw. Covington is looking to see if we can have some pride rivalry. Autumnleaf77 started a fun talk about Star Wars with just a small question. you can click the link to read it all by following the posts. PennyIA's son is an honorary Roaring Lion Badge carrier. What a brave guy! Frick flashed some beautiful yarn.
CS pointed out that Dawn dish soap does some good with their income. (i know i'm planning on buying some when i get home) OKC is starting her own little campaign for the oil spill clean up. follow her to see how and what is happening. CS is getting involved, I'm sure you can too! the baby sprinkle quilt top is finished. and i think birds would make it too busy CS. but that is my opinion. and I'll have you know that since I'm away from the sewing machine my sewing bug has not finished, I'm just resisting taking over my mom's sewing machine.....for now...

Classes have been posted and Ya'll are still chatting like crazy. I've been busy getting ready for my trip to visit my family..... ok really I've been reading the first Sookie Stackhouse book and loving it. whoever told me I needed to read them was right on!
Lupingirl shared some songs for Alexist's and Smitey's birthday. they're great HP fun! Mauri has a plan of attack for the month. Frick also has a plan. There's going to be a wizards duel. go check it out!
Straayerliz is still working on her plan for the month Krystina1207 also has a plan in the works. So does OKC. and vanessamn has it all planed out with LINKS to patterns... such a smart cookie!Jedimeg is on top of things also. all these plan makers are making me think about making a plan for myself...LOL..

Straayerliz changed her plan a bit (it's looking good) I'm beginning to think that i should do it also. AmyPC has a plan and broken DPNs.(don't worry I've got the hookup!) PennyIA made half a plan she's going to get a full plan soon! She also shared a great idea for some classes. TKJ also has a plan mapped out. KrazyQuilts is going for the bigger projects. Spartyliblover is working on her plan. (I'm not talking about the weekly plans that started after this b/c it's making me feel very very inadequate and unprepared)

OK sooo with the summer here we're spending more time outside, how about you?
The end of the month is here, which means new classes and turning the page in your calendar! Everyone did a great job and I'm loving seeing the photos shared in the common room and in the Trophy Room. (if you haven't been over there it's wonderful!) I hope everyone is concentrating on their OWLs at least for a day or two b/c we get 50 points for turning in 50% at the end of this month and it gets you where you want to be with your OWL anyways! Ok enough for my head girl talk... now on with the recap!
Covington turned in some wonderful themed washcloths this month. Annamarya shared some stats with us, few of us have turned in 6 projects, others 5, we're doing a great job! (we can totally win the HC this year!!!) NaturallyKnitty is charming us with cute photos of Trubie again! Stacylovesyarn shared a FO. Noone shared a cute knitted puppy! TheKnittedJuggler finished a cocheted juggler... LOL it's totally cute and I think it kinda looks like her ravatar. PennyIA needs some good vibes b/c her kitty is missing.
Sandyvern wanted to know what we think Gryffindor's smell like for her soap shop over at Etsy. why not click the link and respond to help her out. I told her what I thought. and we had a conversation as to what Ron smelled like.. b/c Hermione never told us in HBP. (keep reading from her post down to see what we think about that)

EEEK! CherrySprinkle is adding to my urge to sew. And her Twin Derricksdoll is sharing her Peanutbutter Popcorn she's been talking about... (those two are dangerous I tell you!) A warning for spinners from CS.
Covington shared a video on single crochet. PennyIA won a TON of needles on ebay. it's amazing. Look at the batts that derricksdoll got in the mail. (warning they've got goo on them though and were over a month late) and CS's goo batt. so pretty  but not so nice to touch.
Covington's wondering if you'd like to sing with her. (I know I won't be doing it as I'd break your eardrums)
Lupingirl's overloading us with cuteness.  Alexist shared a really cute hat with us. Gawariel needs some advice on her blanket. Frick is proud to be a gryffie! (and so am I) A NQFY, TheHappyHours, brought a gryffie dog into the CR to share. Jedimeg's cat has been caught! Straayerliz got some beautiful roving. I can't wait to see what she spins up. Knicknacks shared a FO. Stacylovesyarn brought her herbology to show and her mallet of sanity. (anyone need a whack?) We've got the dread pirate Roberts. Lupingirl's blanket turned out beautiful! Jajigirl's headband and socks are beautiful too! StitchyWitchy stopped in to share her roving with us. CherrySprinkle has an awesome tea cozy! It almost makes me want to drink tea... almost.

Just to show you I've not been slacking and doing nothing while I'm not CRRing it up. I've brought a photo of my OWL spinning. I dyed the roving myself and now I'm on to the spinning part of the OWL. then I'll be Navajo plying it.... but this is a CRR not about me so lets get on with it....Basically just some random sentences and links for you to know what's going on.

Well life has been busy at my house lately with the end of school and getting ready for school next year so I must apologize for not giving you an update sooner... I'm sitting here watching Jimmy Kimmels Aloha to Lost so it's a good time to update.

Lisakbye is going to be making a hello kitty square and is wanting some others to crochet along with her. PennyIA is asking the dragon along, dragon ladies, (we need a name) where everyone is at with their dragons. I for one have my chart charted and I'm knitting the first sock. (in case you were wondering)

TKJ had to do around practicing her ERECTO spell b/c she got in trouble.  So make sure you "behave" in class and don't laugh at the funny spells... at least don't get caught that is...

The visiting Fosterson shared a great story about a scary guy met on the train. we will now blame everything on the Reptoids! keep that in mind when knitting goes wrong or crochet bites back and spinning makes your head woozy. Frick shared her half done to-do list! Straayerliz is almost done too. Spartyliblover shared her list too. and I'm feeling very underachieverish. NaturallyKnitty scored some awesome fiber finds at a yard/craft sale. I for one was totally jealous and convinced her to pick me up some! (she's a wonderful sister!)
SapphireRuby got some wonderful gryffindor yarn. Lupingirl got some kits, I see some awesome projects in her future! Mauri graduated! and got some knitting done while she was there. Covington finished her first ever in the round crochet project! Jajigirl is enabling! Binkette55 found a new dragon pattern if you want to join in our totally informal Owl Dragon-along! FantasyFlyte is getting close to the end of her hat and shared a photo. ZTAgirlKnits showed us some lovely lovely lovely yarn photos...trying to tempt us. Jedimeg16's whirlwind weekend 1 went ok and weekend 2 will go well and she's going to be taking photos just for me! (remember! you promised.) LOL.
Trainergirl15 is trying to KILL us all with jealousy. Check out the beautiful fibery goodness and drool! Derricksdoll finished another square. I'm thinking we'll all need to make a blanket like that. AnnaMarya shared some great stats and confirmed what we already know; that We Gryffies ROCK! jajigirl shared a wonderful photo of her drop spindle. Jamygillespie shared an awesome sketch of her and her boyfriend that SHE drew! How amazing is that? my sketch would consist of 1-2 stick people and you wouldn't be able to see the difference between the two. Noonne shared a photo of her 1st sweater that she just finished. TheKnittedJuggler shared that she met an amazing juggler and he said she was amazing, she also shared a video of him for us to know who it was she met. CS shared a beautiful beach that i think we'd all like to go to. Lisakbye shared some awesome spinning she's done and a photo of her very interesting cat and then a photo of a very interesting spot. Lupingirl wants pajammeralls. Crochetbyclare did some remodeling. Vertigo1414 shared a funny clip from family guy, then photos of her new place. Did you know jajigirl is a trainer and does something called cardio knits? She's got tons of wonderful info for us if we just ask! we had a great convo about fake sugars and the like. there was some OWL talks. Mauri inspires us all with her goal to knit 1 sweater a month! jaclynbailey shared some lovely pink yarn she bought for her daughter and then shared photos of her lovely daughter.

CherrySprinkle shared with us an awesome FO of her's and also a list of her projected projects. (I'm thinking I should do something similar.) She also shared a WIP with a great flower! FantasyFlyte's phone works!!  NaturallyKnitty is making margaritas and inviting caffeinatedkatie over (they live in the same town and are BFFs).
Vertigoo1414 cast on some french press slippers and thinks the size 15 needles are a little weird.

Derricksdoll shared a photo of her luscious yarn and her birdies. we had some sad talk about loosing pets but then we started sharing the good memories and photos of our loved furbabies! Frick WON! take that you quilted jacket lady!  We all love angiejude's pug, I think it's b/c she's so darn cute and lets her take photos with props and hats and fun stuff! Needlesnswiffers found some soot sprites and set some traps so watch where you're walking.

Our Owl examinner visited our CR and told us she's trying to keep on top of the OWL approvals. CS shared a WIP photo of her tea cozy. (don't you wish you could take as excellent photos?) Maybe we could get her to give us some tips we can use as laymen taking photos.... (hint hint) CS also shared some help for finding a project we want to make for DADA.
Krystina1207 had a wonderful idea to share her monthly plan broken into weeks. Then everyone started copying her and we all started thinking about how we're breaking our crafting into weeks.
