The Common Room recap 12-18 May

Another fun and busy week in the Common room:

The week started off with some lovely spring flowers.  Suggestions were made for new teapot slogans.  There was an astonishing turn-in for Divination.   There was a good discussion on whether it was good to time your knitting and how to do it.  One brave person undertook to crochet a tinfoil hat, and had to come up with a way to turn it into yarn.

Several Gryffindors enjoy listening to podcasts and discussed their favorites.  All the sock yarn turned out to be too much of a temptation.   More pattern help was provided to a Gryffie in need.  The 10th Doctor wants you.

A new knitting machine set up was proudly displayed and there was some good discussion on getting locked into (or was that out of?) the naughty suite.  There was a lesson on the hazard of going through your stash.  Some great links were posted on working with color.  In a very imaginative turn-in, T-fur the tortoise got a jacket and Henry was jealous.  And at the end of the week, Richard provided encouragement on class projects.
